Pricing
SafeSearch Online is a subscription based service. Subscriptions are $70 per year, and your first year's fee will be charged immediately when you sign-up. This is due to the fact that we must conduct a security background check before your membership can be activated. The fee covers the cost of that background check. Every year after that, your annual membership fee is used to maintain your background check, as well as your account on the system with any data sheets you may have purchased during the year.
The SafeSearch Online subscription service is handled by PayPal, so when you submit your application as part of the online sign-up process, you will be required to setup a PayPal account for billing purposes. Don't worry. The process is seamless and easy to do. Just follow the instructions on the Membership Application pages.
Each year when your membership is up for renewal, you will receive an email notification in advance. If you wish to renew your membership, you don't need to do anything. Your credit card or bank account will automatically be billed the $50 annual memberhship fee. If you wish to cancel your membership, you will need to login to the PayPal account you setup as part of your sign-up process, and cancel the subscription.
NOTE: The state of New York requires additional fees as part of security background checks. Therefore, New York residents are charged a $120 annual membership fee. There are also additional fees involved for conducting security background checks on non-USA residents. Therefore, non-USA residents will be charged a$150US annual membership fee.
In addition to the membership fees, the following fees apply:
Non-Members:
- $20 - Phone consulting. Consulting time is billed at a flat rate of $20 per incident. More sensitive technical data will not be offered to non-members.
- $20 - Data sheet. Not available for purchase by non-members.
- $?? - Parts. SafeSearch Online has a variety of safe and vault parts available for purchase. Call to inquire.
Members:
- $20 - Phone consulting. Members have a toll free number to use when calling for phone consulting. Consulting time is billed at a flat rate of $20 per incident.
- $20 - Data sheet. Once you are a member of SafeSearch Online, you will be able to search (for free) and purchase technical data sheets for $20 per data sheet. Once you purchase a data sheet, you will always have access to it, so long as you maintain your membership with SafeSearch Online.
- $30 - Phone consulting plus Data sheet. During a phone consultation, you may be offered the opportunity to purchase a data sheet for the safe you're working on (if a data sheet for it exists). In that case, you will receive a discount on the consultation plus data sheet. This option is only available to members.
- $?? - Parts. SafeSearch Online has a variety of safe and vault parts available for purchase. Call to inquire.
